Private Medical Insurance – A Must !
Okay, so you hear the words private medical insurance and you think, yawn, why does everyone have to assume they’re about to drop dead just because of the swine flu scare, followed by abundant bouts of freezing (but very lovely) snow. I say, why worry about it? Who has the time to sit around worrying? (actually, many people do, so let me rephrase that). Why waste time sitting around worrying about getting ill and dying? Just get private medical insurance. That way, if anything does happen, you can get seen to straight away and not stress about waiting months to get treated, while your condition worsens and your body deteriorates.
People also seem to think these days that the recession means they are doomed to a decade of spending nothing, beating themselves up over the overspend of a pound here and there. The point is, the recession has affected many of us currently jobless souls – I TRULY do feel for everyone who’s lost their job – especially parents with families to support. But for those of us who are lucky enough to still have jobs and a relatively steady income, what is the point in living if you’re not actually living? Most of these companies give you the first three months free, and the monthly premiums if you want to stay private are nowhere near as bad as people presume. I would pay that much for gym membership, and my private medical insurance actually gives me gym membership discounts! What I’ve found most helpful, to be honest, is the encouragement of a healthier lifestyle – body and soul. Which makes me think, there’s no point in wasting life worrying about what might happen tomorrow. Take some precautions instead, and enjoy it for today.
